At the Montefiore Medical Center STD Initiative, patient care services include:

• Comprehensive STD screening and treatment
• Rapid HIV testing with pre and post- test counseling
• Hepatitis B and C screening
• Hepatitis A,B and A/B combination immunizations
• HPV vaccination
• Herpes culture with typing
• Type-specific herpes antibody testing
• Rapid herpes blood test ( BioKit test)
• Liquid based Pap smear testing ( with HPV DNA testing if necessary)
• Urine pregnancy testing
• Gonorrhea and chlamydia testing
• Serologic syphilis screening
• STAT syphilis testing ( dark field microscopy and RPR serology)
• Trichomonas testing (wet prep, culture, PCR)
• Saline wet mount
• KOH wet mount
• Chancroid culture and smear
• LGV serology and DNA amplification test
