MMG Comprehensive Family Care Center (CFCC) provides internal medicine, pediatrics, and obstetrics/gynecology, and specialties services using community-based, academic and state-of-the-art medicine. Our teaching environment ensures that each of our patients receive outstanding care under a team of two or more physicians almost every time. Patients also have on-site access to social services, nutrition and health education services.
For adults, besides internal medicine primary care, our health center includes multiple specialties, including allergy, gastroenterology, endocrinology, immunology, nephrology, hematology and coumadin management, ophthalmology (eye care), podiatry, pulmonary, psychiatry and rheumatology (joint care). We also have chronic disease management programs that utilize an interdisciplinary approach and include our peers.
Our obstetrics/gynecology team consists of both midwives and physicians. We specialize in high risk pregnancies and offer care for complex pregnancies such as care for gestational diabetes, HIV-positive pregnant women, prenatals with organ transplants, etc. We also sponsor the Centering in Pregnancy Program for low-risk prenatals.
Our pediatrics program includes a team of pediatricians, resident physicians and a nurse practitioner. Children may participate in the following programs: Healthy Steps, Reach Out and Read and Low birth weight Evaluation and Assessment Program (LEAP). Additionally, we offer family immunology assessments, behavioral pediatrics and infant and early childhood mental health services.
