Programs and Services

Patients as far as Europe and the Middle East, as well as those from Westchester, New York City, Connecticut and New Jersey come to us for our comprehensive dermatologic programs. We are internationally recognized for our treatment of medical dermatology complications, such as ones resulting from problems associated with adrenal glands, the GI tract, grafts from a transplant, or blistering diseases such as psoriasis, and we offer systemic therapies that are oral, injectable, and intravenous. This combination of solutions cannot be found at other dermatologist offices; you must be in a hospital environment for IV therapy. When it comes to your skin, whether it's your face or a graft on your leg, you want board-certified professionals with years of experience treating you - not a technician in an office who took some training on an injection or a piece of equipment.

Likewise, other dermatologists may offer some laser treatments, but the Division of Dermatology at Montefiore Medical Center is full-service in that we address everything - hair, blood vessels, pigment, tattoos, etc. As for cosmetic and aesthetic dermatology, we have developed special programs for the removal of pigmentation (i.e. "liver spots" or sun-induced freckling) and wrinkles/furrows and unwanted hair growth for the face and bikini line.
