Montefiore's Institute for Reproductive Medicine and Health offers a full spectrum of services to help overcome the obstacles to successful childbearing.

Our comprehensive, interdisciplinary, and highly specialized services meet the complete needs for individuals experiencing fertility problems.  With the latest in reproductive technologies and a world-renowned team of physicians, the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic options are available.

Consultation and Diagnosis

The first step in assessing the cause of infertility is typically a complete infertility diagnostic work-up that involves both partners.  A thorough medical history and exam are the foundation of the work-up with a variety of highly specialized tests utilized to give further information.

Most people can be treated with conventional infertility therapies including:

• Ovulation induction with fertility drugs
• Intrauterine insemination
• Surgical intervention including endoscopic, conventional and microscopic surgery to repair the reproductive tract

If pregnancy is not achieved with conventional treatment, you have the option of being referred for Assisted Reproductive Technology  (ART).
