Rheumatology – Professional Training Programs – New York, NY, Montefiore Medical Center

Einstein Montefiore Rheumatology Fellowship

Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine offer a Rheumatology Fellowship Training Program that prepares physicians for careers in clinical rheumatology and/or research.

The fellowship's first year is devoted to clinical training and focuses on patients at four hospitals in the Bronx, N.Y., who are affected by a broad range of rheumatic diseases including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, osteoarthritis, crystal-induced arthritis, soft tissue rheumatism and scleroderma. As part of their training, fellows gain experience with clinical procedures including joint aspiration, soft tissue injection, bone radiology and osteoporosis screening.

During the second year of the program, fellows complete a clinical or basic research project. Each fellow chooses a faculty member as a mentor during the research project. Learn more about the Einstein Montefiore Rheumatology Fellowship.
