Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation

The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine offers pelvic floor rehabilitation for women and men with pelvic floor dysfunction.

We treat common diagnoses including:

  • Urinary incontinence (stress, urge, mixed)
  • Fecal incontinence
  • Incontinence related to trauma, pregnancy, aging and surgery (including prostatectomy)
  • Vaginal pain syndrome
  • Rectal pain syndrome
  • Pelvic pain syndrome

Our services include:

  • Biomechanical and musculoskeletal evaluation of pelvis and lower back region
  • Neuromuscular re-education
  • Strengthening of pelvic floor muscles
  • Vaginal and rectal myofascial relief techniques
  • Pelvic floor training with biofeedback and electrical stimulation
