Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation
The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine offers pelvic floor rehabilitation for women and men with pelvic floor dysfunction.
We treat common diagnoses including:
- Urinary incontinence (stress, urge, mixed)
- Fecal incontinence
- Incontinence related to trauma, pregnancy, aging and surgery (including prostatectomy)
- Vaginal pain syndrome
- Rectal pain syndrome
- Pelvic pain syndrome
Our services include:
- Biomechanical and musculoskeletal evaluation of pelvis and lower back region
- Neuromuscular re-education
- Strengthening of pelvic floor muscles
- Vaginal and rectal myofascial relief techniques
- Pelvic floor training with biofeedback and electrical stimulation
