Interventional Pulmonology Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center provides advanced, minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients with pulmonary conditions, such as lung cancer, respiratory disorders and diseases that affect the lining and function of the lungs. After the initial pulmonary medicine evaluation, our team provides a range of services for adults, including: evaluation of patients with pulmonary nodules or fluid, routine care and monitoring of patients at risk of recurring diseases, and care for patients with pulmonary complications of cancer.

As part of the Division of Pulmonary Medicine, the Interventional Pulmonology Service trains pulmonary and critical care fellows in select procedures. All fellows also have an opportunity to participate in research in this discipline.
