Occupational Health Services (OHS)
There are two options when it comes to your physical exam. You can have your physical completed by your own physician or at Montefiore’s Occupational Health Services. If you prefer to have your personal physician complete your physical, it will be at your own expense. Please call OHS to verify what is needed. Even as such, all physical exams must be submitted to Occupational Health Services. If you choose to have your physical done by OHS, it will be free of charge. Call OHS directly for an appointment.
After you are cleared by OHS, please submit your clearance form to the House Staff Office. We also recommend keeping a copy for yourself and bringing that with you to orientation.
All physicals must be completed by July 1.
If you are not cleared by our OHS you will not be able to:
- Start your program
- Receive your identification badge
- Be put on payroll
- Receive meal tickets
- Receive your CIS/DEA Number
