Housing Information
All Housing applications must first be approved by House Staff. Read all the information below before filling out applications. Please return the application to the House Staff Office, Montefiore Medical Center, 150 East 210th Street, Bronx, New York, 10467. REMEMBER TO PRINT OR TYPE CLEARLY ON APPLICATIONS. If we are not able to read it we will send it back to you, which will delay your application.

After Housing applications are approved by House Staff, we will then forward the approved applications to the Housing Department in early April. The Housing Department will assign apartments at the end of May.

Move in date is July 1, 2009. If you are able to move in earlier, housing will notify you.

Attach notarized copies of marriage certificate (if applicable), children’s birth certificate(s), and proof of current residence (e.g. Con Edison bill).

Label each form submitted with a preference choice (i.e. MI 1st choice, MII 2nd Choice, etc.).

Choose your prefered apartment size (i.e. 1 Bedroom 1st choice, Studio 2nd choice, etc). Keep in mind that you may not be eligible for all size units. Please review the Occupancy Standards guidelines prior to submitting your preference.

One month’s rent and one month’s security is required upon assignment of apartment.

Housing will mail out your lease between the end of May and early June.

You are unable to visit or view any apartment units due to current tenant occupancy.

Montefiore I is a 12 story mixed use property centrally located to all campuses at 3411 Wayne Avenue, Bronx, New York, 10467. "Monte I" offers 7 floors of affordable and comfortable living. Riverdale Building (Waldo Avenue)
Situated perfectly in the Bronx's most desirable neighborhood, the historic Riverdale district, and approximately 7 minutes by car from the Moses campus, is Montefiore's Waldo Avenue Building, located at 3636 Waldo Avenue, Bronx, NY 10463. These beautiful rentals offer fantastic amenities, including a large backyard for the use of all tenants, a laundry room and 24-hour guard services. All units are supplied with a refrigerator and gas range or countertop range. Most units include a dishwasher. Unit sizes range from studios to 2 bedrooms, many of which have balconies. Montefiore provides free door to door shuttle service to and from the Moses campus.
