ACLS Certification

All PGY-1 Residents must be ACLS Certified prior to the start of their training at Montefiore Medical Center.

Montefiore Medical Center will offer a three-day ACLS training course from June 27 - June 29, 2008 from 7:00am to 5:00pm.  Friday is mandatory for all and we will divide the number of registrants for the Saturday and Sunday courses into two groups and assign you a day. One group will attend June 28, 2008 and the next group will attend the course on June 29, 2008. We will send notification to all registrants and we will request that each registrant respond to confirm attendance. We suggest that you keep June 28th & 29th open for this course to accommodate last minute changes.

Please remember if you register you MUST attend.

If you are unable to attend any of the scheduled dates it is recommended that you take the course at any registered training site. We will reimburse FOR ACLS ONLY.  Please call Kate Eisenberg at 718-920-2625 if you choose this option.

Please Note:

• These sessions are for ACLS "Primary" certification ONLY
• You MUST be BLS certified before taking the ACLS Course, it is a prerequisite.
• If you are not BLS certified at the time of registration for the ACLS course please go to www.americanheart.org to locate a class near you.
• A copy of your BLS card IS REQUIRED for registration

To register for the ACLS Course offered at Montefiore Medical Center please fill out the attached registration form and return it along with a copy of your VALID BLS Card to Kate Eisenberg, House Staff Office, 111 E. 210th Street, Bronx, NY 10467, NO LATER THAN JUNE 1, 2008.
