Our acute inpatient facility is located at Montefiore Medical Center-Weiler Division. This beautiful, newly renovated 20-bed facility focuses on patients’ functional recovery through an integrated program of care provided by a team of rehabilitation professionals. The team works with referring physicians to restore patients to their maximum potential while achieving long term quality-of-life gains. The team consists of physiatrists, rehabilitation nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists and social workers. Referring physicians are regularly updated on their patients’ progress.
The facility offers patients skilled rehabilitation services for a diverse spectrum of diseases and disabilities, including stroke, spinal cord disorders, neurological diseases, vascular disease/amputation, cardiac or pulmonary disease, rheumatological disease, orthopedic surgery, spine surgery, cancer and other diseases.
