Mordecai Koenigsberg MD, Division Head
The Ultrasound Division offers ultrasound examinations to evaluate and diagnose abdominal, gynecologic, obstetric, fetal, pediatric, thyroid, breast, scrotal, prostate, musculoskeletal, and vascular arterial and venous complaints. We have particular expertise in performing ultrasound-guided core biopsies and fine needle aspirations of many organ systems on an outpatient basis. We are also one of the few general ultrasound services which perform fetal echocardiography examinations. The division serves outpatients and inpatients, and offers emergency services when clinically indicated.
The Moses Site has a total of 5 scanning rooms and 5 highly qualified sonographers.
The Ultrasound Division has state-of-the-art equipment, including two extremely sensitive Acuson Sequoia Digital Computed Sonography Units for the Moses Site, two for the Weiler Hospital Site, and one for its Medical Arts Pavilion private practice. These units provide phenomenal imaging and Doppler flow capability, which increases the diagnostic confidence of our ultrasound procedures.
