Musculoskeletal Radiology
Diagnoses span the gamut of musculoskeletal disease, ranging from arthritis and sports injuries to bone and soft tissue tumors to spine disease. In addition to offering numerous imaging services and interpretations, our board certified radiologists and musculoskeletal radiology fellows perform procedures such as therapeutic joint injections and MR and CT arthrography, as well as image-guided bone and soft tissue biopsies. Our section works in a multidisciplinary fashion, regularly interacting with orthopaedic surgeons, endocrinologists, rheumatologists and other specialists, as well as primary care physicians. Another highlight is our pathology team, which includes two dedicated bone pathologists who participate in daily case discussions. Research is also an integral component of the section with various studies pertaining to scoliosis currently underway.
