The Montefiore Medical Park is an out-patient facility with a high degree of clinical expertise catering to breast imaging as well as body imaging. The facility actively participates in on-going research in new methodologies of evaluating breasts for cancer detection. The facility is involved in computer-aided diagnosis and anticipates shortly a new full field digital mammography acquisition machine. The facility also participates in the National Institute of Health Women's Health Initiative.
Appointments
Appointments are generally necessary for screening mammography. Diagnostic mammography (acute problems) can usually be obtained with limited, if any, wait.
