Neuroradiology

The ACGME accredited Neuroradiology Fellowship training program at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center is a 2-year training program.  If you wish to join our fellowship program, we expect a two-year commitment to Montefiore Medical Center as we have an extensive research, clinical, and teaching curriculum that lasts a full 24 months.

The Division of Neuroradiology is committed to excellence in patient care and clinical service in an academic setting. Integration of neuroimaging and clinical data in the fields of neurology, neurosurgery, neuro-ophthalmology, and otolaryngology is a strength of the program as is its broad pediatric experience in neuroradiology. The Division is composed of five CAQ certified faculty members including a Section Chief for interventional neuroradiology, and  faculty dedicated to fMRI research. The fellowship offers clinical responsibility divided between interpretation of non invasive imaging studies (CT, MRI) and performing and interpreting special procedures: myelography, angiography, spinal and cerebral embolizations, vertebroplasty, CT guided biopsy and nerve root blocks. Increasing responsibility for clinical consultations, conferences, and performance of procedures is given as the Fellow gains experience with time. Clinical and imaging research opportunity is available.
