Our faculty train interns in all the major schools of psychological thought and treatment, and interns participate in extended seminars on psychoanalytic psychotherapy, advanced cognitive behavior therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. We believe in teaching principles and theory, as well as specific interventions. Many of our faculty have been involved in the development and promulgation of empirically supported treatments, and others are strong proponents of psychoanalytic and other types of psychotherapy.
