Stipend and Benefits
Internship Year 2009-2010
- Current intern stipend amount is $28,000 per year
- Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, with a variety of program choices
- Subsidized Montefiore housing (availability varies, but all interns who have applied for housing in the past were placed)
- Meal tickets for daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Montefiore food service sites on campus
- Tuition remission for up to $3000
- Interns are entitled to 20 vacation days, 3 conference days, and 12 sick days
- Interns have their own offices with computers during their outpatient rotations. On all other rotations, office space and computers are readily available. All computers have Internet access. All interns are assigned a Montefiore e-mail address. Interns are also given voicemail-equipped pagers.
- Full use of Montefiore and Einstein libraries, including free interlibrary loan and online journal access
- Access to our large audio/visual library of psychology training materials and digital audio and video recording equipment
- Interns are able to participate in existing research projects and presentations at national conferences with our faculty. Many interns also co-author articles and book chapters with our faculty during their internship year.
