Our Physicians
Ira Braunschweig, MD, is the director of the Bone Marrow Transplantation Program at Montefiore Medical Center and an assistant professor of Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Dr. Braunschweig received his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine. After completing his residency at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, he went on to complete his fellowship in medical oncology/hematology and bone marrow transplantation at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
Dr. Braunschweig is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology. He is an active member of The American Society of Hematology. His research interests include immunotherapy, and he has an extensive list of published articles.
