Dr. Sridhar Mani

Sridhar Mani, MD, is Director of the Phase I Program and an Assistant Professor of Medicine & Molecular Pharmacology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

After receiving his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Dr. Mani completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital, Yale University School of Medicine, where he also completed a fellowship in Oncology and Hematology.

Dr. Mani, who specializes in gastrointestinal cancers and experimental therapeutics, is an active researcher.  He has been the recipient of grants from the Lissak Foundation, the American Cancer Society and the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund. Recently, he was awarded a 5-year clinical investigator award from the Damon Runyon Foundation to focus on molecular genetic approaches to developing cancer drugs in the clinic.
