Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery

The Fellowship is one of ten American Board approved programs in the United States. The duration of the training program is three years, and includes an equivalent of eight months of research. Fellows are taught the full spectrum of the subspecialty as well as analytic, research, and statistical methods. Evidence based evaluation and treatment is emphasized.

Applicants must have successfully completed at least four years of an ACGME accredited residency program in obstetrics and gynecology. All applicants must demonstrate that they are fully qualified for medical licensure in New York State.

The prospective fellow is required to complete an application and have at least two letters of recommendation. Following receipt of the proper paperwork, an interview is scheduled for those applicants selected from the initial screening process. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit their applications by September 1 of the year prior to anticipated commencement of training.
