Meet the Director

Amy Ehrlich, MD, Program Director of Montefiore-Einstein Geriatrics Fellowship ProgramAmy R.  Ehrlich, MD is Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine and Program Director for the Geriatrics Fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine.  Dr. Ehrlich received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed her internal medicine residency at Beth Israel Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Ehrlich is a fellow of the American Geriatrics Society. She has been involved in program design and development in geriatrics education for preclinical medical students at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She was the recipient of Einstein's Davidoff award for outstanding achievement in the teaching of medical students.

Dr. Ehrlich has an interest in the prevention of burns and fire-related injuries in the elderly.  She has authored multiple peer-reviewed journal articles, reviews and book chapters on this subject. Dr. Ehrlich is active in both regional and national geriatrics organizations.
