Montefiore North Division Gastroenterology Fellowship Program
Sponsored by New York Medical College
Welcome to the Gastroenterology Fellowship Program at the North Division of Montefiore Medical Center (formerly Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center). I hope you will find these pages informative.
The Fellowship Program is sponsored by New York Medical College. We have three gastroenterology fellows, one in each year of training. We have a highly skilled and dedicated group of gastroenterologists, who provide fellows with close supervision.
Teaching, research, clinical and procedural skills are important goals of the program, as well as producing compassionate, ethical physicians. Our Gastroenterology Board pass rate attests to our high academic standards. Many of our graduates have become attending gastroenterologists at the North Division, and a considerable percentage of our graduates have become board certified in clinical nutrition. Some of our former fellows have chosen academic careers in gastroenterology at major medical centers after further training in hepatology and pancreatology. We are seeking applicants who will maintain our clinical, academic and ethical standards.
For more information, please peruse our program overview, which explains in detail the content of our Gastroenterology Fellowship Program.
