Montefiore Medical Center is investing in a major construction and renovation initiative that will create new patient rooms, private labor and delivery suites, specialized pediatric operating rooms and new facilities for treating cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and other related illnesses by the time the project is completed in late 2006.
