New York City, NY (October 22, 2003) -- Conjoined twins Carl and Clarence Aguirre departed The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) at 12:17 pm today for their trip back to Blythedale Children’s Hospital in Valhalla, NY.
"The twins are returning to Blythedale to resume nutritional support, and physical, occupational and speech therapy to help strengthen them for the surgeries to come," said pediatrician Robert Marion, MD, who is caring for the boys at CHAM and Blythedale.
"Carl and Clarence came through their first operation wonderfully, and all systems are ‘go’ with our plans," said Dr. Marion.
