A BS/BA in Accounting, minimum 3 years experience and knowledge of Excel and MS Word is required. Prepare monthly reports, analyze income/expense variances & create and maintain databases for purchase orders and capital expenditures. Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management. Previous experience working in a healthcare environment preferred. Knowledge of Power Point a plus.

Responsible for billing functions including: charge entry, payment posting, accounts receivable follow-up and insurance submission and follow-up. Involves frequent contact with physicians, administrators, patients, families, and insurance companies. Previous billing/collections experience preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent and medical terminology and third party billing experience required. Responsibilities include answering telephones, scheduling patient appointments, filing, collecting patient and third party payments, data entry, light typing and general clerical duties.

Ensures appropriate DRG assignment for optimal reimbursement. Prepares necessary records and reports. Trains and educates new employees.
