Biography

Anthony Casale, MD, Professor of Urology and Director of Pediatric Urology, is an internationally recognized expert in the treatment of the urologic diseases of children. A graduate of The University of Kentucky School of Medicine, Dr. Casale trained in General Surgery and Urology and Transplantation at the same institution before moving to Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard University to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Urology. Dr. Casale has held leadership positions at multiple universities during his distinguished career including The University of Indiana and The University of Louisville. Dr. Casale joined the faculty of The Department of Urology in 2012 as The Director of Pediatric Urology. In 2015, he became the Program Director for The Residency in Urology at Albert Einstein/Montefiore. Dr. Casale has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications and is a member of the American Urological Association, the Society of University Urologists and the Academy of Pediatrics. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. In 2016, Dr. Casale was awarded a Presidential Citation by The American Urologic Association for his service to the field of pediatric urology and contributions to urology resident education.
