| Title | Safety Study of Live Bacteria to Treat Solid Tumors That Have Not Responded to Standard Therapy |

| Description | This protocol will examine the safety of administration of Clostridium novyi-NT spores in patients with treatment-refractory solid tumor malignancies. This pilot study will also investigate the safety of using a sepsis scoring system to determine when to initiate antibiotics in these patients. |
| Eligibility Criteria | To be eligible for this study, patients must meet several criteria, including but not limited to the following: * Patient must be 18 Years and older * Patient must have a diagnosed solid tumor malignancy. * Patient has discussed this protocol and the risk associated with this study agent with an oncologist who is independent of this research. * Patient is able to stay within 45 minutes driving time of Johns Hopkins Hospital for 28 days following discharge. |
