Angeline Agregado completed a medical degree at the University of Santo Tomas College of Medicine and Surgery (UST) in Manila with honors “Benemeritus.” She did her pediatric internship at the Hospital of Infant Jesus, an affiliate of UST. Her postdoctoral training was completed at the Department of Clinical Immunology, Pediatric and Adult Sections, at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Institute for Cancer Research, and she then completed house staff training in pediatrics and fellowship training in ambulatory care pediatrics at Montefiore Medical Center. She also completed a mini-fellowship in clinical nutrition at New York Academy of Medicine.
Dr. Agregado joined the Department of Pediatrics at Montefiore Medical Center in 1996 as an attending physician. She was appointed Director of Ambulatory Grand Rounds.
Dr. Agregado has diverse clinical interests in primary care, nutrition, research and education. Currently, she is co-investigator for clinical research for various protocols at Montefiore. She is active in institutional education activities such as mentorship and preceptorship programs in Albert Einstein College of Medicine--namely, the Urban and Latino Health Primary Care Program, the Generalist Career Pathway Mentorship Program (GCP) and the American Women’s Medical Association Mentorship (AMWA).
