Research Focus

Dr. Rudolph’s research focus is the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of fatty liver disease in children. Fatty liver disease is a serious public health problem particularly in urban, Hispanic youth. Dr Rudolph is developing a comprehensive diagnostic, research and treatment program to address this problem. Dr. Rudolph is studying new technology to help stratify a child’s risk for serious complications of fatty liver disease, including cirrhosis.

Dr. Rudolph graduated medical school from the George Washington University School of Medicine. He completed his residency and fellowship training at The Children's Hospital at Montefiore prior to joining our Division as faculty. He is also an active member of the Advocacy Committee for the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.
