Amanda North graduated from Princeton University with an A.B. in Religion and a certificate in Latin American Studies. She went on to medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine where she was elected AOA and awarded the Montefiore Staff and Alumni Award at graduation.
She went on to complete a residency in Urology at Montefiore Medical Center. She spent 2 years in Baltimore completing a fellowship in Pediatric Urology was at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. She has been an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Urology at Montefiore Medical Center for the past 5 years. Her professional interests include general pediatric urology with on focus on perinatal issues in urology, including prenatal consultations.
When not taking care of patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children and is an avid reader and runner.
