- Dr. Bent obtained his undergraduate degree at Duke University and his medical education at Wake Forest University, and then completed his otolaryngology residency at the Medical College of Georgia (MCG). He obtained pediatric otolaryngology fellowship training at the University of Iowa and later returned to MCG, where he directed the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology from 1995-98. In 1998, he joined a pediatric otolaryngology private practice in Manhattan, while continuing academics part-time at Cornell, NYU and Beth Israel Medical Center. In 2005, he accepted a full-time appointment to the faculty of Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he practices at The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore.
