For the third year in a row, Montefiore's renowned Cardiac Surgery Program at Montefiore Einstein Center for Heart and Vascular Care was awarded the highest three-star rating by the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, a nonprofit organization representing more than 6,000 surgeons, researchers and healthcare professionals worldwide. The rating reflects the highest level of quality care delivered for cardiovascular surgical procedures.
