Orthopaedics Overview Brochure

We focus on patient-centered care and are higly skilled at treating many routine problems that develop in the musculoskeletal system. In addition, our specialists deliver highly specialized care and are experts in adult reconstruction and joint replacement surgery, foot and ankle surgery, spine surgery, sports medicine and shoulder surgery, musculoskeletal tumor surgery, trauma surgery and pediatric orthopaedic surgery.

The majority of our patients can be successfully treated without surgery. We partner with our patients to develop treatment plans that achieve maximal benefit for each individual. Patients are often successfully treated in collaboration with other Montefiore departments, including physical and occupational therapy, interventional musculoskeletal radiology, physical and rehabilitation medicine, and plastic surgery.
